Midian Shrine Antique Autos was formed in 1979 and has been active for more than 43 years.

The Antique Autos was organized and is operated as a separate unit under the authority of Midian Shriners, Wichita, Kansas and is always under the direct control of the Illustrious

Potentate.

The object and purpose of Antique Autos is to add color to the pageants, ceremonials, parades, and exhibitions of the Shrine; promote the welfare and goodwill of the order in general, and Midian Shrine in particular; and perform other duties, as from time to time, the illustrious Potentate may believe to be for the best interest of the order.

Antique Autos meet monthly on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Isis Room East.

Membership dues are $50 annually.

There are many opportunities to socialize and for fellowship. The unit has a social every month for the Nobles and Ladies of Antique Autos in addition to Temple events.

Owning an antique automobile is not a requirement for membership. If a member owns a vehicle, or has access to drive a vehicle, the vehicle must be at least 10 years old and in good running condition. Both the member and his vehicle must comply with all Shrine regulations, and applicable legal requirements to be driven on public roadways. This specifically includes insurance and licensing requirements.
