Willys Overland Jeepster
Jeepster Number #3 created on 5/12/72. It is a 1949 and it belongs to
Jim McNerney. Prior to that Norm Conley who bought it 3/89 and put New
Uphostery with Recaro Seats and a console in it. A Performer Edelbrock
Carb. It was sold in December of 2009. Prior to that time it was owned by: 93-James
Hobson-Denver Bland-Bill Bowman-Carl Farmer-Jim McNerney-Dave Taylor-
(This jeepster came from S. Wichita on S Meridian used to belong to Britt Brown
Eagle editor had Corvette V-8 $275 in 1972. Before that it was used for Coyote
hunting and had metal tractor seats welded to the fenders and a gun rack on the hood..)
It carried the antique Kansas tag "LOWDRAG" and later "Pilgrim" These pictures below show what it looked like
when Norm picked it up in a barn with bird droppings all over it in 1989. That tag
